Most peoples knowledge of AAF starts and ends with their upbeat metal cover of Smooth Criminal (which is legitimately great), however its really not representative of their sound as a whole, to my disappointment - the main sound is instead serious and angsty alt-rock which is really nothing special, and in light of their big hit single (and band name, cmon) they really should have taken themselves far less seriously. Movies proves they could and should have followed through with that sound more.
