There’s very little I can add that hasn’t already been said, and I’m almost certainly one of the last people on Elysium to discover this game. However, what I will say is that the writing is extremely indulgent yet extremely engrossing, earning its wholehearted, passion-driven indulgence in spades. Yes, everyone has way too much to say and the pacing can suffer as a result (especially when stepping into the game for the very first time), and there are other minor flaws that feel like an awkward concession - but to be honest? I didn’t care one jot, I wanted to listen to all the various ramblings under the guise of detective-work, to see out the case but also sort some of the most seemingly-irrelevant side quests and cases.
