A ridiculous, goofy, over-the-top run-and-gun featuring an array of “bros”, mainly exaggerated callbacks to big muscular characters of the 70s/80s/90s, with a strong vein of sardonic patriotism - there’s a lot of wanton destruction all in the name of American freedom. Sounds like a fantastic game to play with your brain switched off and fully indulging in the power fantasy, yet you are remarkably squishy and there becomes a strange incongruity of needing to be patient, careful and taking it slow - and it would have been much better (both thematically, and in terms of fun) to lean into the power fantasy far more.
